Attempt for education from Ciner Group

Ciner Group, adopting to make social and cultural development contributions as its mission, carries out project of "Gaining 50 Educational Institutions to the National Education" step by step.

Ciner Group, starting to build a vocational high school with 14 classes and workshop in Afşin Elbistan, will give scholarship of 2.5 million TL in total for 400 students from Şırnak.

While Ciner Group makes contribution with its increasing investments day by day for the country economy and personnel it employees in accordance with its vision and missions, it continues to make contribution on social and cultural development especially education.

Ciner Group, which gained 10 schools for different regions until today, maintains and repairs schools having financial problems and gives scholarship for martyr children, made a new attempt for education.

Ciner Group, starting to build a vocational high school with 16 classes and workshop in Afşin Elbistan, will give scholarship of for 400 students from Şırnak in cooperation with Şırnak Governorate.

TARGET: 50 SCHOOLS

Scholarship of 2.5 million TL will be provided for 400 students in total, who will be determined by the Governorate and have no financial power, and an important ground will be covered in preparation of children for the future. Target of the group whose student number, to whom it provided scholarship, reached thousand, is to gain 50 schools for the National Education.

What has been done until today?

- Training and rehabilitation program was applied for 101 students of Çeltiksuyu Boarding District Elementary School that was damaged in Bingöl earthquake with the initiatives and sponsorships of Havaş, which is one of the group Companies, in Darüşşafaka schools in Istanbul / Maslak, and they were sent near their families at the end of the academic year.

- All student needs necessary for their education are met in educational institutions that were built with voluntary contributions of the group and 11 of which were completed and delivered to the Ministry of National Education. Example and modern educational institutions suitable for the projects of Ministry of National Education were established.

- Ciner Group gives scholarships for children of the Turkish Armed Forces and Ministry of Internal Affairs and for children of martyred personnel in coordination with our institutions. These scholarships, which are still given to children of 100 martyred families in total and according to levels of schools where they receive education, will be continued until education is completed, and scholarship will be given for new students replacing the graduates. The number of students to whom group gave scholarship reached thousand.
